thank you for continuing this project, I am always appreciate the depth this manga has when it comes to character development. Contrary to most people in my country they tend to think kids are innocent and only think about simple stuff hard anyone ever thinks they can do things adults are capable of. Sad but true in my country. I have been a follower of this series only because of how the characters interact with one another.

Many thanks for all the hard work. I look forward to the future of this series.

Hiiro: I don’t understand what you’re talking about here. I find this a very mediocre manga, ideas are all over the place

  8. blueseeker Says:

Thank you for doing this project, it’s too bad that is only a chapter per month my nerves can hardly take it with the turning of events getting darker by the minute. Have fun at the convention!

This manga has really captured me from the art style to the story line….I just truly love it. One of the most controversial mangas that I’ve ever read…and it amazes me that a female is the writer of this story…I’m nearly at a loss for words to tell you the truth. I just must truly, from the bottom of my heart, thank you for continually scanlating this every month. And as most of the posts say, I also wish she could and would do more than 1 chapter a month. domo arigato Saha-sama!

Sorry if I spammed this everywhere but I can’t find the answer.

The chapters appear to be misnumbered or missing a chapter. Your translated chapters from 34 (Possibly 33) onwards show the following chapter to be 1 count off. Usually at the end of each chapter it tells you what the next chapter will be. Like 32 says the next chapter will be 33. Oddly though chapter 33 (If it is chapter 33) does not say what the next chapter will be. Then when you look at the last page of so called chapter 34 says the next chapter will be 36. Not chapter 35 like it was on chapter 32 downwards. They all ran in sequence. So can you tell me if a chapter has been missed out and why chapter 34-37 are 1 chapter count off?

  13. evil_bommel Says:

The numbers aren’t the chapters of kodomo no jikan, they are the volumes of the magazine they get aired in (i forgot the name).
And because of one month vacation they are a number off…

  14. mopantsu Says:

    Thanks for that explanation.

  15. aTaNoK Says:

Shirai sure was in for some character development… and the relationship between Aoki and Kokonoe has turned an interesting turn of tables.
Will Aoki keep looking sad and depressed until Rin-chan pities him and goes back to usual? Or will Reiji snap and serve as catalyst?
    Oh the drama! ^^

    As always, great job Saha-sama!

I love this manga, thanks tons for the scanlation :)

  17. Manji Says:

Gil, I don’t know if you’re trolling or simply haven’t read all the manga. It is exceptionally well-written with genuinely surprising twists and turns, and the way Watashiya is foreshadowing events and tying together sub-plots is world-class. The depth and sometimes unexpected complexity of the characters is impressive. For just one example, there’s no doubt Reiji is an antagonist, but the poor guy has been screwed over by life so badly the reader has to feel at least some pity for him, which is a very hard thing for a writer to pull off.
I re-read the whole series recently and had a number of new revelations that made me an even greater fan of Watashiya, such as noticing the the relationship between Aki/Rin and Aoki/Reiji as shadowed archetypes.
Those who are avoiding this manga due to the “squick” factor are really missing out. There are simply no other loli-themed manga that are anywhere near the same league. It’s the “Lolita” of the manga world.

I listened to the Air ost while reading this manga a while back, it was strange but it felt perfect.

Anyway thank you, i love this manga so much, it’s the portal to my happiness right now i didn’t even read the comments because i knew there would be spoilers!
