I noticed that the stuff you release shows up on Manga Updates, but I have not noticed a way to download it. Is this because it is commissioned, or has it just not been updated on a torrent? In particular, I’m referring to My Mom is My Manager, that you released earlier today. Hopefully I didn’t ask too noob, of a question.

I was wondering what the differences are between versions 1 and 2 of Take On Me (volume 1). This has nothing to do with the changing names thing, rather what I’m wondering about specifically is why version 1 is over 27MB bigger than version 2? Is there a difference in image quality? I’d like to delete version 1 off my hdd, but I wanted to make sure there was nothing there worth keeping first.

Just a different method of compression. It’s doubtful you’d be able to notice any difference in the image quality.

I honestly can’t even remember where I put the files I was working on anymore. I think they were lost during my hard drive crash several months back. Either way, I’m a little too overloaded with commissions at the moment. I’m not sure when I’ll have time to finish BnSK. Certainly not in June, in any case.

I don’t upload to megaupload. I use Mediafire because it’s the most convenient and I use rapidshare because it’s the most popular. Mediafire shouldn’t actually be giving you those complaints. Either way, I don’t really intend to upload it to a third service. I’ve already got Mediafire, Rapidshare and torrents covered and the next batch torrent will hopefully be ready this month.

“Exclusivity” is what I used to offer before I hit the 300 mark. Basically, I promised the commissioner I would never re-translate it for anyone else without their consent. If you want to re-commission anything below #300, I’d need to contact the commissioner to ensure he doesn’t mind letting it go. That doesn’t apply for any commission beyond #300. Those can be re-commissioned whenever someone wants them.

Someone asked about finishing Boku no Seinen Kouken-Nin and you said you lost the files. I stumbled across the raws for the whole thing at http://g.e-hentai.org/g/5298/6a1a001142/ . Chapter 7 starts at image 190. Not sure if this is the best option since it seems to be missing quite a few pages that were in your releases for previous chapters.

I haven’t seen any more Milk Hunters doujins, but it’s likely just a matter of time before another one comes out.

Random Nude hasn’t been shared yet, as far as I know. I did a text translation for it, so it’s up to the commissioner if he wants to edit it and release it. I don’t know if he ever plans to or not. The content is a little too gross for me to be willing to edit it. Just translating the text was making me pretty sick to my stomach.

Depends. If the stories are all unrelated, then I can just do whatever hasn’t been done. If the stories are related, I’ll have no problem doing the other chapters so long as the ones that are already done are not rewrites.

Just wanted to mention that Kagami’s joke in Chapter 10 of Kodomo No Jikan isn’t a reference to another show, what she’s doing is tucking her hair inbetween her legs so it looks like pubic hair. This is why she says “Adult!”, she’s imitating how she’d look with pubic hair.

At the time, the commissioner handed me 3 random Ragnarok chapters, which I labeled under one commission #. He only shared the Victim Girls 3 portion of the commission. At the time, I wasn’t even aware that it was Victim Girls 3.

I would like to ask, seems you only release 1 chapter of kodomo no jikan each month, is this because you got alot of other works to do as well and you’re the only one thats doing it? Or is it something with getting the raws?

Itazura switch hasn’t received many donations yet. The majority seems to be going towards Blood Lunch, Desperation Classroom, SekaxSeka and Parabellum. Since Desperation, SekaxSeka, and Parabellum are nearing completion, it’s possible that the more neglected series may see a bump next month.
Cheers is also being funded rather rapidly, but so far there’s only 1 guy contributing to it.

To me, loli is more of an art style than an age bracket. Naruto and Sakura are supposed to be 12, but I don’t think I’ve ever done a Naruto doujin I would consider loli. Meanwhile, Gorgeous Takarada’s stuff typically involves 12 year olds and those are definitely what I would classify as loli. Either way, I don’t get offended by loli, so I don’t really care what age they are in the story. I’m just amazed at the morons who go around mouthing off about anyone who jerks off to loli and then 2 seconds later, they’re furiously jerking off to 12 year old Sakura porn like she’s a hot, totally legal woman. Meanwhile, they call Ogiue(Genshiken) a loli, even though she’s an 18 year-old university student with no tits.

missing issue of Kodomo no Jikan
I love this series . . . but I have a question . . for some time now I have been wondering why the chapter numbers dont coincide with the next issue numbers from the previous issue . . for example . . this is chapter #40 . . but it you look at the next issue/release date on the last page of this chapter . . it says the next issue is #42 . . . NOT #41 like it should . . . .
I went back and looked over all the issues I have . . and the missing issue seems to be around #33
At the end of chapter #32 it gives a release date of 12/22 for issue #33
The problem seems to be . . what is labeled as chapter #33 has a date at the top of the first page of 2008/1/12 (I dont read japanese so I dont know what the date is referring to)
On the last page of that chapter . . is what appears to be a release date for the next chapter of 2008/2/22 . . but it doesnt say what chapter number the next issue is . . .
Then on the first page of what is labeled as chapter #34 (with a date of 2/22 showing in the lower left hand corner of the picture) . . . when you go to the last page of the chapter it shows the next chapter is #36 with a release date of 3/22 . . . . . . the next chapter after #34 . . should be #35 . . . not #36 . . . . . . . . .

Heh. Your interpretation of “sahadou” is spot-on. I would have liked to have gotten SaHa.com, but unfortunately, it’s already taken. Currently, sahadou is just me(Sayo). I kept the SaHa name since that’s how I started up with Hazard. The SaHa name actually originated from Hazard’s old anime fansubbing group(Slow As Hell Anime), which I later decided to apply to our respective net names and as a nod to his old group. Hazard basically stopped participating in the manga translations over 2 years ago, though. It wasn’t a fight or anything. It’s just that he’s too busy with his own job. His company works him to death, so he just stopped having time to proofread anything.

I’m not entirely sure why you’d want to learn Japanese “without school”. If you’re hoping that I’ll say “watch anime”, you’re deluding yourself. The best way to learn japanese is with school. The second best way is probably to move to Japan for 1 or 2 years. You can try to learn the language with books, but it’ll be like beating your head against a wall if you don’t learn the basics by taking at least 1 or 2 semesters of Japanese courses.

If you have 0 or next to 0 knowledge of Japanese sentence structure and grammar, go to your local university and take at least 1 semester of Japanese. Without the basics, any attempts to learn the language through books will take you forever. The best way to learn any language is to practice speaking it with other people on a daily/weekly basis and unless you live in Japan, of have a Japanese friend, your best bet is to take a course. Once you have some grounding to work from, then you can start diving into more advanced self-teaching books with more success. Unless you practice the language on a regular basis, you WILL lose it. If you’re hoping to be able to read raw manga, that’s a whole other can of worms and takes considerably longer than simply learning to speak the language.

I’d rather not open up this can of worms and have everyone start sending me requests for raws. There are plenty of sites out there for locating raws quite easily and I’m not one of them. It’ll depend which one you’re looking for. I don’t typically keep the raws on my hard drive and going back through my burnt discs is like trying to find a needle in a haystack.

I had a bit of a what the moment while reading 42 Of Knj I know what some of the sounds are what they should mean, Yet I was wondering if you could put a note on panel that only contains sounds? without any character reference it hard to understand what the point is. The sound not being translated were one of the reason Seven Seas gave for dropping the title some how there was more going on in these scenes that translated noises would have cleared up.

No, you have to go to that page, input your link and generate a second one that redirects to the first:
for example,

becomes

It looks like that page can process a number of links simultaneously, so you can build a table oldurl/newurl and replace links accordingly.
Obviously, now you’ll depend on that service; your obfuscated links will be useless the moment linkto.net goes down.

Just a quick notice to say let you know that silver dragon chapter 29 is no longer available to people. That is the download links at rapidshare and mediafile have been removed from those sites and its not in the torrent (as far as I can see) nor available as a direct download.

Yes. I don’t think there’s any way for me to remove commission lists from the searches, so those will usually come up in the search results. It’ll find all threads containing your search criteria.

No, i mean the searches just go straight to the sequential commissions, without any search results. For example, try searching for “Nagare Ippon”; unless my PC’s just cursed, nothing comes up. Same with a few other searches.

I think it’s it only searches for very recent entries, since i just searched “Hindenburg” and it only came out with “Hindenburg – I’m Being Impregnated! Ch.5-6″ and “Gorgeous Takarada – Wet Princess Ch.4″ (which mentions Hindenburg in the description. Does this have to do with the recent site reorganization?

I downloaded your “Gorgeous Takarada – Sister’s Heart”. When I sorted it according to the TOC,
I found out that its missing 2 pages (page 211 & 212).
To get more confirmation I download its RAW.
Even in the RAW that I downloaded missing the same pages
(I believe its the same RAW that you use in the project).
The missing pages is available in COMIC MEGASTORE [2005-01]. I hope you can translate those 2 missing pages.

Saha, I’m looking for a doujin which has already been translated to english, and I thought it was one of yours, but I’m not sure. It’s an hmanga, and it’s about this priest and his apprentice, and when the necklace the priest wears is taken off, he turns into “the devil”. The girls they encounter are monsters, such as a mummy, a werewolf, and a vampire. I have no idea what the title is, and I can’t remember any of the character’s names.
This has been driving me crazy, any help you (or anyone else bothering to read this) can give would be greatly appreciated. The name of the doujin would be especially helpful. Thanks again, and if you have no clue what I’m talking about, then don’t worry about it.

Aw that sucks. You did the first one of the series and the second and maybe the fourth so I was hoping you were gonna do the fifth but if no one commissioned it, it can’t be helped. I’d pay myself but at 44 pages with tons of sfx and tiny speech bubbles typical of gambler…way out of my price range

two questions/suggestions.
1) could we possibly get some more from this artist Vox?

2) Perhaps a create new category for futa on male hentai since it seems to scare some folk and then there’s other folk who don’t propably care too much for futa on girl on the other hand. (Like me :/ )

1) It’s listed as “unknown – Ryoutou Ronpou”. Originally, I didn’t know who the artist was, so that’s why it’s labeled like that. I’ll correct it for the next torrent.
2) I’ll consider it, but I don’t get asked to do that type of futa too often. If a futa release contains futa on male, I’ll typically specify it in the blog post itself.

At the moment, there are no yaoi donor projects in the works. The only yaoi stuff currently in the pipeline are a few small conan doujins that I’ll be starting sometime in september.
